Call for Board Members

As Textile prepares to incorporate as a nonprofit organization, we’re seeking dedicated individuals to join our inaugural Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of independent arts publishing in Kitchener-Waterloo.

We’re looking for community members with expertise in:

• Financial management and nonprofit accounting

• Governance and legal compliance

• Strategic planning and development

• Arts administration and cultural policy

• Fundraising and grant writing

• Community outreach and engagement

Ideal candidates will commit to a 2-year term with quarterly meetings and occasional committee work. Board members will help guide Textile’s strategic planning, ensure organizational sustainability, and advocate for our work in the community.
